Flash Atkins – The In Crowd Remixes
Flash Atkins has got The In Crowd off the back catalogue shelf, dusted it off and passed it on to some of his favourite producers for a re-rub.
Originally released on one of Paper’s sister labels We Are Woodville, The In Crowd takes a Bryan Ferry sample and uses it as the bedrock for a peak time cosmic disco banger. Fully road tested on boat parties in Croatia, the breakdown has been certified as highly flammable.
Man about town and son of Bolton, Chris Massey flexes his late night production muscles. The extended sample rides rock solid beats and squelchy bass as the track locks in for serious dancefloor business.
From Beyond keeps the big room cosmic vibe with added guitar, acid and lots of reverb. It is warehouse disco house at its finest.
The Soundersons keep the original intact but pitches it down and adds some disco swing. It comes off like chopped and screwed, drugged up disco for those moments when things get weird.
