Popsneon – Some Town
Nottingham’s Popsneon has come up with an album for the 2020s that could become a modern classic.
Some Town is a unique blend of chillwave, shoegaze, acid house, Detroit, Balearic and leftfield pop with stripped back, widescreen electronic production. It features Torn Sail’s Huw Costin and Tiger, who bring fantastic songwriting with emotional weight, hooks and truth.
Running over ten tracks, the album distils thirty years of underground music into a soundtrack for late night / early morning urban living.
